Job details & challenges:

As part of the development, RAU® was commissioned to plan and implement an efficient and ecological noise protection system. The challenge: a 7 m high noise barrier with a crown width of 0.8 m and a base width of 2 m – with a high aesthetic and ecological quality at the same time. Particular attention was paid to the sensitive transition between traffic areas and residential buildings as well as ensuring a high quality of living and recreation despite the location close to traffic.

Project objective:

The aim was to implement an environmentally friendly, green noise protection solution that would meet the highest standards in terms of both function and design. The measure should not only effectively minimize traffic noise, but also contribute to biodiversity through its ecological design and enhance the design of the new residential area.

Results
